Featured is a wonderful Carnival Glass EAPG Bowl in the Peacock and Urn Pattern. EAPG stands for Early American Pattern Glass which dates from 1850 until 1914. EAPG is clear or colored pressed glass, early carnival glass is pressed glass that has a sprayed on iridescent coating. The Fenton Peacock and Urn is the easiest to distinguish because of its double design on the inside and the outside of the bowl. Pattern: Fenton named this pattern Peacock and Urn. Color: This is a Carnival Glass Bowl in the Peacock and Urn pattern, dark blue glass with an iridescence spray. Design: large peacock in the inside center with an urn in the background surrounded by flowers and leaves, on the outside of bowl is a berry and leaf design. Look carefully, there is a bee just beyond the beak of the peacock.
