The Active Emitters are direct field loudspeakers with wide dispersion (nearly 180 degrees) designed to provide the simultaneous reproduction of sound masking and intelligible audio content like paging signals, and make use of a 1.25-inch (3.17 cm) driver. The patented direct-field technology produces uniform, comfortable sound masking as well as clear, articulated paging from a loudspeaker that is practically invisible when installed a finished or open structure ceilings. The Active Emmiters include onboard active electronics as the power source for the loudspeaker and, through their ported enclosure design which allows for lower frequency extension into the 100 Hz octave, power is delivered with an external power supply and/or power injectors (accessories available). The Active Emitters provide four uncorrelated audio channels, automatically cancelling phasing. They are plenum rated and UL listed to conform to UL 2043. Each Active Emitter consists of a slip-ring ceiling tile mount, which is supplied as standard. When combined with the improved plug-and-play installation and configuration capabilities, the Active Emitters make the Active Emitters the most intelligently engineered and effective sound masking on the market today.
